PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new care lotion for a contact lens which is proper in feeling of use, because it is not sticky, and can safely improve the feeling of wearing the contact lens for an eye, and to provide a new method for evaluating safety for the tissue of the eye required for deciding the feeling in wearing of the contact lens. SOLUTION: The care lotion for the contact lens is constituted by containingβ-glucan. The present invention is a method for improving the feeling of wearing the contact lens, by immersing the contact lens in a solution containingβ-glucan or bringing it into contact therewith. The present invention is the method for evaluating the safety of the care lotion for the contact lens which influences the feeling in wearing the contact lens for the tissue of the eye at the relative ratio of colony, formed by the artificial culture of human cornea epithelial cells.
