PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling pressure wheel heating device obtaining a sufficient heating value and allowing rolling pressure wheels to maintain a predetermined temperature range during rolling compaction work. SOLUTION: Rolling pressure rollers 1A, 1B compacting an asphalt mixture laid and leveled by an asphalt finisher, have heating means 4A, 4B heating a fluid; jetting means Na, Nb jetting the fluid heated by the heating means 4A, 4B, to the surfaces of the rolling pressure wheels 2 of the rolling pressure rollers 1A, 1B; non-contact temperature measuring means 5 measuring the surface temperature of the rolling pressure wheels 2 of the rolling pressure rollers; and a control means 6 receiving signals from the non-contact temperature measuring means 5 to control the heating means 4A, 4B. The control means 6 has a function of not operating the heating means 4A, 4B when the surface temperature of the rolling pressure wheels 2 measured by the non-contact temperature measuring means 5 is a first set value or more, but operating the heating means 4A, 4B when the surface temperature is not more than a second set value lower than the first set value.
