PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid atomizer in which the noise to be produced from a jet hole can be prevented and a liquid to be jetted in an atomized state from the jet hole can not be scattered vigorously on the periphery of a coating range. SOLUTION: The liquid atomizer is provided with: a nozzle box unit 11 having the tapered jet hole 12 the diameter of which is made larger gradually as it goes to the tip thereof; a liquid discharge port 14 arranged in the center of the inner part of the jet hole 12 of the nozzle box unit 11; and a plurality of gas discharge ports 15 arranged around the liquid discharge port 14 so that the liquid to be discharged from the liquid discharge port 14 is formed into micronized mists by a high-speed current of a compressed gas from the gas discharge ports 15 and the micronized mists are jetted. A mixing chamber S, which is formed by a circular projected inner end 16 having a narrow inside diameter and has a circular space, is arranged in the inner part of the jet hole 12 of the nozzle box unit 11 so that almost halves of the gas discharge ports 15 are interrupted/partitioned on the front sides thereof.
