PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for catching flying insects, which safely catches flying insects quietly even in a room so as not to obstruct sleeping, is not dazzling, simple, reasonable and has no toxicity. SOLUTION: The catcher for flying insects has an insect collector main body for dividedly forming the catching space of flying insects and a catching part to be arranged at a part of the catching space and is equipped with a flying insect guide part for guiding flying insects into the catching space. The flying insects guide part is equipped with an opening part arranged between the catching space and an outside space, a first guide surface extended from the catching space through the opening part outward and a second guide surface extended from the catching space through the opening part outward in the direction crossing the first guide surface or a first guide surface which is extended from the catching space through the opening part to the outside and moved in the direction crossing the main shaft direction of the opening part.
