PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-circulation and non-immersion type food material-cleaning device without requiring a large installation space and capable of being installed relatively inexpensively. SOLUTION: This food material-cleaning device 1 is equipped with a vessel 3 arranged with a mesh-formed container 2 having a water-discharging port 11 and housing the food material, a nozzle 4 for spraying cleaning liquid to the vessel 3, a cleaning liquid-feeding line 5 capable of feeding disinfected water as the cleaning liquid to the nozzle 4 and a regulating device 7 for automatically regulating a process of spraying the cleaning liquid from the nozzle 4.
