The invention relates to a housing (30) for a cylindrical combustion chamber that extends perpendicularly on a gas turbine. Said housing comprises a plurality of wall and ceiling panels (25, 26) which form a hood and surround the cylindrical combustion chamber. To facilitate the assembly and disassembly of the housing, the wall and ceiling panels (25, 26) form a self-supporting hood by means of a rigid interconnection system.
