The system has safety modules (10-20) that are connected to a network and transmitting data over the network, where one of the modules is switchable in an energy saving mode by a local event or a rest instruction generated by the local event or by the rest instruction transmitted by other safety module. The module is switchable in an operational mode by another local event or roll instruction generated by the latter local event or by the roll instruction transmitted by the latter module. The former event is interference of energy supply.
