<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft seal mechanism which surely prevents a flutter phenomenon of a thin plate, also prevent fatigue destruction of the thin plate, lengthens the service life of the shaft seal mechanism, and improves reliability, even when eccentricity is caused in a mother machine. <P>SOLUTION: This shaft seal mechanism 25 checks fluid flowing in the axial direction of a rotor 23 by passing through an annular space between the rotor 23 and a stator 24, and has a high pressure side side plate 53 arranged in a high pressure side area of a plurality of thin plates 29 and a low pressure side side plate 54 arranged in a low pressure side area of the plurality of thin plates 29, and is characterized in that the plurality of thin plates 29 are constituted so that its part mutually abuts when gas pressure acts in a state of being fixed to the stator 24 side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
