<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil seal which is assembled in a small space by a simple assembling operation even if a condition of use at the time of traveling is strict as it is used for a front fork suspension of a two-wheeled vehicle and its related objects, and prevention against intrusion of foreign substances such as muddy water and dust is especially required. <P>SOLUTION: The oil seal consists of: a cored bar 10 with a fixing mechanism for engaging with an assembling part provided in an inner circumference surface 3a of a member 2; a first seal part 20 vulcanized and bonded to the cored bar 10 by for tightly and slidably contacting with another member and sealing mainly oil of a sealing object side A; and a second seal part 30, which seals mainly dust of an atmospheric air side B by tightly and slidably contacting with another member, has a plurality of seal lips 31, 32 positioned close to the atmospheric air side B from the first seal part 20 with their tip end parts pointing to the atmospheric air side B, and is integrally formed with the first seal part 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
