<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum foil molded container having a hemmed rising rim on a flange, the container which is inexpensive, suppresses bulkiness in stacking the containers, and facilitates handling of the containers by an automatic machine. <P>SOLUTION: The rising rim 140 of the container 100 consists of a first vertical portion 141, a taper portion 142, a second vertical portion 143, and a hemmed portion 144 which are formed in an increasing order from the periphery of the flange 130. When the container 100 are stacked, the taper portions 142 ease the interference of the rim 140 at the lower tier with that at the upper tier to suppress the bulkiness of the containers 100, thus facilitates handling of the containers 100 by the automatic machine. The second vertical portion 143 and the hemmed portions 144 overlapping with each other, which give difficulty in taper molding, are formed perpendicular to the flange 130, which enables stable caulking molding of the vertical portion 143 and the hemmed portions 144.
