<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of recording in an optical disk drive and the optical disk drive where the precision of an optimal value of recording power obtained by optimization processing is improved by accurately grasping a value β which has to be corrected when carrying out optimization processing of the recording power. <P>SOLUTION: When carrying out the optimization processing of the recording power, a plurality of values β based on a plurality of recording powers are calculated, and at least a part of the calculated values β are compared based on a prescribed formula, in the method of recording in the optical disk drive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
