<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method of fuel cell peripheral units in which an unpredictable damage of an electricity storing unit can be prevented by a progressive starting up of a number of peripheral units for operation of a fuel cell, and an adverse effect on a service life and safety can be prevented, and provide a fuel cell system using the above method. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell body in which a power is generated by electrochemical reaction between mixed fuel and an oxidant is provided with an oxidant supplying unit which supplies an oxidant, a fuel supplying unit which supplies a high-density fuel to a mixing tank which stores non-reacted fuel which is recovered from liquid exhausted from the fuel cell body and water, fuel cell peripheral units provided with a fuel pouring unit for supplying the mixed fuel stored in the mixing tank to the fuel cell body, an electricity storing unit electrically connected with the fuel cell peripheral units, and a controlling unit which drive the fuel cell peripheral units one after another by utilizing electric energy stored in the electricity storing unit in accordance with a priority order of operation which has already been stored in a memory unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
