<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage structure of a composite window, which is excellent in countermeasures against dew condensation on the wood of the composite window, and which enables the rapid discharge of dew-condensed water. <P>SOLUTION: This drainage structure against the dew-condensed water and the like, which are generated on the indoor surfaces of the respective panes of glass 12 and 22 of the inner and outer sashes 1 and 2 of a double sliding window as the composite window, comprises: a drainage passage 3 which is arranged along the indoor surfaces of respective lower rails 10A and 20A constituting respective outdoor-side stiles/rails 10 and 20; a drainage opening 4 which is formed on the side of at least one end of the drainage passage 3 and in door-end stiles 10B and 20B constituting stiles of the respective outdoor-side stiles/rails 10 and 20, and/or a meeting stile 10C; and a drainage downflow passage 5 which is formed in such a manner that an end of the drainage passage 3 passed through the drainage opening 4 faces the door-end stiles 10B and 20B and/or the meeting stile 10C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
