<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion vector detecting device capable of detecting a motion vector with higher accuracy than in the conventional one. <P>SOLUTION: The motion vector detecting device 10 is provided with a first motion vector detecting part 13 for detecting a motion vector of a color signal G, a first RGB applying part 15 for applying a vector value of the motion vector of the color signal G to vector values of motion vectors of color signals R, G and B, a luminance signal generating part 16 for generating a luminance signal Y from the color signal of each color of R, G and B, a second motion vector detecting part 19 for detecting a motion vector of the luminance signal Y, a correlation calculating part 20 for calculating a correlation of the vector value of the motion vector of the color signal G and the vector value of the motion vector of the luminance signal Y, and a second RGB applying part 22 for applying the vector value of the motion vector of the luminance signal Y to the vector values of the motion vectors of the color signals R, G and B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
