<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug for a pipe and a construction method for closing a pipe end by using it, capable of being manufactured at low cost and capable of closing the pipe end with excellent work efficiency without increasing the size and adopting a complicated structure. <P>SOLUTION: The plug for the pipe is provided with a flange part 2a, and a cylindrical part 2b extended on a back surface side of the flange part 2a and inserted into a pipe inner part, and is abutted on the pipe end part and can close an opening part 1a formed on the pipe end part. A fitting part 2a1 to be connected to a lever block 8 for inserting the plug for the pipe into the pipe inner part is formed on the flange part 2a, a protrusion 2b1 or a recession 2b2 is formed on an outer peripheral surface in the middle in the longitudinal direction of the cylindrical part 2b along the peripheral direction, and the plug for the pipe can be locked by the protrusion 2b1 or the recession 2b2 by a bending prevention ring 4 fitted into the pipe 1, and the outer peripheral surface between an end of the cylindrical part 2b and the protrusion 2b1 or the recession 2b2 is abutted on a seal material 3 fitted in the pipe inner peripheral surface, and sealing can be achieved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
