PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled vacuum cleaner capable of appropriately cleaning a plurality of rooms and improving a crime prevention effect. SOLUTION: The self-propelled vacuum cleaner 1 is provided with: a traveling part 11 for traveling along a traveling surface S to moving the vacuum cleaner 1 among a plurality of rooms A, B in a house; a signal transmission part 15 for transmitting a room lamp control signal for controlling the ON and OFF of the prescribed number of room lamps arranged in the room A (or B) to which the vacuum cleaner 1 is moved by the traveling part 11 out of the rooms A, B; and a CPU 18 for determining whether a room lamp control condition concerned with the control of ON/OFF of the room lamps is fulfilled or not, and when the fulfillment of the room lamp control condition is determined, controlling the transmission of the room lamp control signal from the signal transmission part 15.
