摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that will ensure the backward compatibility of a piconet device which is capable of operating in the non-frequency-hopping fashion, in an environment where the frequency-hopping fashion is also used. SOLUTION: The system comprises a mechanism, wherein when using a device in a communications network including a plurality of frequency channels within a radio frequency channel as a master device M, allocates a frequency channel for establishing a non-frequency-hopping connection link, in response to the request from a requesting device between the device and the requesting device in the communications network; and a mechanism for establishing a connection link, when a non-frequency-hopping channel can be allocated, or for establishing or maintaining a frequency-hopping connection link, between the device and the requesting device, when a non-frequency-hopping-channel cannot be allocated.
