PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network setting method which is effective when a wireless network is constructed by using a communication device connected to a content providing device capable of analog output and in which radio communication information including an authentication ID and an encryption key can easily be set by the communication device. SOLUTION: The communication device which establishes the wireless network according to the radio communication information including the authentication ID and encryption key makes network settings through a conversion step of converting analog data input from an external device into digital data, a decision step of deciding whether the digital data include the radio communication information, an acquisition step of acquiring the radio communication information from the digital data when it is decided in the decision step that the digital data include the radio communication information, and a setting step of making a specified storage means store the radio communication information acquired in the acquisition step.
