PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve information sharing in a distributed system even when a data source or data request side is constantly connected and occationally connected, and to secure responsiveness to a data request from an arbitrary path without disturbing real time communication or processing. SOLUTION: When the subscription of a data request side to this distributed system is detected, the system is notified of identification information. When the identification information is received by data storage regions 0311 to 0315 arranged so as to be distributed in this system, the type and layout location of data whose replica should be prepared are determined based on relevant information in order to prepare the replica of data which are likely to be requested by the data request side. The replica of data which are likely to be requested by the data request side is preliminarily generated and stored in a data storage region present in a range designated in this system.
