PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that improves properties of the light-selective prism. SOLUTION: A red-reflecting film 266R and a blue-reflecting film 266B are formed into a substantially X shape on the jointing surfaces, constituted by the respective side faces of four columnar prisms (right-angle prisms) 261-264. The red-reflecting film 266R is continuously formed, without being separated at the intersection of the two reflection films; while the blue-reflecting film 266B is divided into two pieces by the red-reflecting film 266R and an adhesive 267.
