PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an effective deformation of a vehicle from being inhibited by a roll suppressing force which is demonstrated by a stabilizer in collision of the vehicle in the vehicle adopting a so-called impact absorbing body. SOLUTION: An electric active stabilizer system including a pair of stabilizer members is mounted on the vehicle. In an ordinary case, the stabilizer member is relatively rotated by a rotation amount corresponding to a roll moment which the vehicle receives by the force of an electric motor, so that the roll suppressing force corresponding to a turning state of the vehicle is generated (S4, S5). Contrarily, when the vehicle collides (S6), or when the probability of the collision is high (S7), power supply to the electric motor is prohibited, and generation of an electromotive force of the electric motor is prohibited (S9), thus preventing the roll suppressing force from being generated.
