PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically remove and discharge lint without the need of cleaning a filter by manual work by improving a lint removal technique in a continuous washing machine. SOLUTION: A cylindrical screen 1 is provided and is rotated by a rotary driving roller 8. A screw conveyor 2 which is a stationary member is disposed in the rotated cylindrical screen 1, and a washing liquid is supplied from a washing liquid supply pipe 3 and is delivered from a washing liquid outflow port 7. The washing liquid is filtered through the filter formed at the cylindrical wall part of the cylindrical screen 1. Filtered lint (illustration is omitted) is deposited on the inner surface of the cylindrical wall part and rotated together with the cylindrical screen 1. Since the screw conveyor 2 is the stationary member, it is rotated relative to the cylindrical screen 1 to peel off the deposited lint and send it by a screw.
