PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the fraudulence committed onto game media such as tokens without a substantial alteration of a game machine such as a slot machine. SOLUTION: The game machine is provided with the main control means 50 for controlling the progress of a game and a sub control means 60 for controlling the performance during a game. The main control means 50 is provided with a signal transmission means 71 which transmits an input/output signal of the game media serving as a signal to the effect that the game media were charged or as a signal to the effect that the game media were put out to the sub control means 60. The sub control means 60 is provided with a signal receiving means 82 for receiving the input/output signal, a game state determining means 84 which judges whether the game state permits the input or output of the game media or not when the input/output signal is received by the signal receiving means 82 and a fraudulence announcement means 85 which makes an announcement to the effect that the input or output of the game media is illegal when the game state permits neither the input nor the output of the game media as determined by the game state determining means 84.
