PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball shooting device of a pachinko game machine which can shoot game balls with right shooting strength even if the turning range of a shooting rod is limited by the invasion of foreign matter such as dust. SOLUTION: The shooting rod 15 having a ball striking portion 16 at the tip is pivoted on a turning shaft, and first and second stopper portions 17 and 18 which restricts the turning of the shooting rod 15 in the shooting position and the waiting position of the shooting rod 15 are arranged. The reciprocating turning motion of the shooting rod 15 between the shooting position and the waiting position makes the tip ball striking portion 16 hit against a game ball and shoots the game ball to a game area. The shooting rod 15 is driven by a shooting rod driving means, and a rotation amount detection means to detect a decrease in the amount of return rotation of the shooting rod 15 at the time when the shooting rod 15 returns from the shooting position to the waiting position is provided. A shooting driving control means increases the driving force of the shooting rod driving means in accordance with a decrease in the amount of return rotation at the time when the rotation amount detection means detects a decrease in the amount of return rotation.
