The invention relates to a device for adjusting the quiescent value of a simple acceleration sensor (10) for measuring the acceleration (az) of a vehicle (12) in the direction of the vertical axis (z) thereof, comprising measuring means (18) which are configured in order to measure a spring deflection state of the vehicle (12) when the vehicle is at a standstill, and calibrating means (22, 24, 26, 28, 30) which are configured in such a way as to adjust the simple acceleration sensor (10) during travel to a pre-defined value if the spring deflection state substantially corresponds to the spring deflection state measured when the vehicle is at a standstill. |
