<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric unit and an image forming apparatus whose maintenance work can be facilitated. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of electric substrates 14-16 to be attached to an apparatus body 20 of the image forming apparatus are constituted as one unit 25 detachably from one direction of the apparatus body to/from the apparatus body. Thereby, the electric substrates 14-16 are integrated into the unit and an operator can reach a required electric substrate from one direction.
