<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a blister (water blister) in an insulating coating formed in a part of a fuel cell separator contacting a cooling medium. <P>SOLUTION: In a structure where the insulating coating 108 is formed on a surface of an anode-side metal separator 101 facing to a space 106a for running a cooling medium through a primer layer 107, a layer having film quality satisfying (measured resistance value/calculated theoretical resistance value)≥95% is employed as the primer layer 107. By satisfying this condition, the primer layer 107 having a small number of minute voids and hardly infiltrating a vaporized component of the cooling medium therein can be provided, and the occurrence of a blister due to liquefaction of the vaporized component of the cooling medium can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
