<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet printer capable of appropriately performing controlling without generating set-off on a cylinder and an impression throw-off even when variation on a time needed for setting-up cylinder or throwing-off impression is generated, and to provide its controlling method. <P>SOLUTION: A driving time from inputting a driving signal into a driving apparatus 5 to completing variation of a position is measured by a driving time measuring means 9. Then, a timing for outputting the driving signal is corrected by a controlling means 8 in taking the driving time measured by the driving time measuring means 9 into consideration. Namely, when the driving time needed for setting-up cylinder or throwing-off impression of a blanket cylinder 3 is actually measured one time in advance, the timing for processing setting-up cylinder or throwing-off impression thereafter can be corrected based on an actual driving time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
