PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation irradiation device capable of responding an erroneous operation by an operator related to blood bag or exposure dose setting. SOLUTION: This radiation irradiation device comprises sensors 10 and 14 for detecting the thickness of the blood bag, and a sequencer 15 for controlling X-ray emission so that a predetermined dose of radiation is exposed to the blood bag, arranged on a tray 2 according to the detected thickness of the blood bag.
