PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing boron in molten cast iron, which solves such the problem as lowering of strength due to ferrite-development of a pearlite spheroidal graphite cast iron caused by mixing of the B (boron) into the molten cast iron by removing the B from the molten cast iron without adding Sn as the strong pearlite-developing promotion element, and without dropping production efficiency. SOLUTION: In the method for removing the boron in the molten cast iron, the B in the molten cast iron is removed by adding iron oxide into the molten cast iron, when the B of≤5ppm is contained in the molten cast iron.
