PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To completely prevent fraudulence using a fraudulent prize such as a stolen prize or forged prize. SOLUTION: In the prize buying system 1, a prize buying machine 20 reports returned prize information at least including the information on the number of defective prizes or the prize identification information on fraudulent prizes if defective prizes or fraudulent prizes whose prize identification information can not be read are included in special prizes for which requests to buy as put-out prizes are received. A prize management device 10 determines whether fraudulent prizes are included or not in the special prizes for which requests to exchange as returned prizes are received based on the returned prize information reported by the prize buying machine 20.
