PURPOSE:To prevent generation of phase shifting on a C-axis, when a workpiece is delivered, by providing a memory means, in which a workpiece delivery program is stored, while connecting a C-axis control means to a rotary driving means of each spindle further a driving control means to a feed driving means. CONSTITUTION:A lathe, performing machining in the first process holding a workpiece 36 to the first spindle 3a and, after the machining, controlling rotary driving means 3c, 5c by C-axis control means 21, 22 being based on a workpiece delivery program WTP stored in a memory 16, positions spindles 3a, 5a to a delivery position CP. Next the lathe, controlling feed driving means 7, 9 by feed driving control meals 19, 20 and moving the spindles 3a, 5a approaching, holds the workpiece 36 by both the spindles 3a, 5a. And the lathe, releasing the spindle 3a and the workpiece 36 from their holding relation further separating both the spindles 3a, 5a, delivers the workpiece 36 directly to a side of the spindle 5a performing machining in the second process for the workpiece 36. |
