Track way has area between or near rails (4) which are filled up with hollow space possessing a material. The free space produced by means of formwork (6,7) is provided near the rails. The free space possesses material which contains e.g. ballast, expanded clay, concrete or their mixture. An independent claim is also included for the method for the production of track way.
