PURPOSE:To productively manufacture an electrode pole coated with epoxy resin completely on the whole periphery of the electrode pole at the portion buried by insert molding by punching the portion coated with necessary resin of a belt plate made of lead or lead alloy material in a grid shape or the like. CONSTITUTION:The portion 11 coated with resin of a lead belt plate is punched by a cutter 2 in a grid shape. A masking tape 10 preventing the sticking of resin is stuck, epoxy resin 5 is coated, after heat curing 6 polyolefin resin 7 is coated, it is then dried 8 and cut 9. An electrode pole constituted of a lug welding section 12, a coating section 13, and a terminal section 14 and coated with epoxy resin completely at the portion buried by insert molding and having high electrolyte leakage resistance is productively manufactured.
