<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stainless steel for solid high polymer type fuel cell separator having good corrosion resistance and also, small contact resistance and its producing method, and the solid high polymer type fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: This stainless steel has the composition composed of ≤ 0.03 mass% C, ≤ 0.03 mass% N, ≤ 0.03 mass% C + N, 16 - 45 mass% Cr, 1.0-7.0 mass% Mo, 0.1-3.0 mass% Si and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, and Fe content, Cr content and Si content contained as deposit in the stainless steel, are satisfied to [deposit Fe] + [deposit Cr] + 2[deposit Si] ≥ 1.0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
