PURPOSE:To use the level gage for a long period by arranging a heater around a transducer and heating the transducer to higher temperature than a sound wave pipe. CONSTITUTION:Nitric acid vapor 7 is suspended in the sound wave pipe 2 dipped in a solution 6, but condensed on the internal surface of the sound wave pipe 2. The heater 4 is wound around the transducer 1 and the temperature is held higher than that of the sound wave pipe 2, so the vapor 7 is never condensed. Further, the sound wave pipe 2 uses stainless steel, so it never corrodes. Thus, the transducer 1 never corrodes with the vapor 7, so long-period continuous measurement is possible. |
