Lighting e.g. for chrysanthemums growing in a glass house, includes a wire and roller arrangement suspended between vertical supports. Each lamp and fitting includes a slide or roller arrangement, which is movable over the taut wire. The glass house illumination includes supports (1) anchored in the soil (2). Between the support, a number of wires (3) are suspended, over which rollers (4), fitting (5) and lamps (6) move. The arrangement includes coupling wire (7) and cable rollers (8). The ends (9) of the coupling wire are wound over a drum (10), driven by an electromotor (11). Current is supplied, e.g. to four lamps, using a cable (12). The lamps are spaced and move at a predetermined speed required, e.g. for a particular type of flower bed. A reversal roller (14) is included in the mechanism. |
