PURPOSE:To improve heat resistance of a jointed part of a ceramic to a metal and to obtain a jointed body of a ceramic to a metal having a cushioning structure having high thermal shock resistance and high heat conductivity in a high hot flux by using a specifically constituted applying method of a brazing material to a jointed body of a ceramic to a metal. CONSTITUTION:In a jointed body of a ceramic 1 to a metal 5, the jointed body is constructed by forming a metallized layer 2 on the ceramic 1 surface, and at least a central part of the jointed surface of the metallized layer 2 to the metal 5 is jointed directly with a brazing material 3, but the whole of the residual part of the surface is not jointed directly with the brazing material 3. Said residual part of the surface is arranged to be constituted of, for example, (a) the metal 5/carbon layer 4 /the brazing material 3/the metallized layer 2, or (b) a constitution wherein a part of the surface is jointed to the metallized layer 2 interposing a fin-like or pin-shaped metal 5'. |
