PURPOSE:To prevent generation of flow of a picture image generated often when an electrophotographic sensitive body is used for a long time in high humidity by forming a surface protective layer from a layer obtd. by dispersing fine powder of a metal oxide in a binder resin and incorporating a specified compd. into the layer. CONSTITUTION:A surface protective layer is formed from a layer constituted by dispersing fine metal oxide powder in a binder resin and at least one kind of compds. selected from a group consisting of acetoalkoxy aluminium diisopropylate, F-contg. silane coupling agents, titanate coupling agents, and C7F15NCO is incorporated into the layer. Suitable fine metal oxide powder is fine powder of tin oxide or ZnO, etc. Suitable binder resin is silicone resin, polyurethane resin, etc. Thus, an electrophotographic sensitive body providing high picture quality and being resistant to generation of flow of picture image even if it is used for a long time, is obtd. |
