A bone staple comprises two parallel legs (2, 3) connected by a cross member (4). A cross member (5) has apertures (6, 7) dimensioned to tightly receive the legs (2, 3). A ligament (8) placed between the securing member and head of the staple is securely retained after the stable is driven home irrespective of looesening of the staple from the bone. |
