The apparatus has light sources equipped with optical systems positioned along respective incidence angles so as to light a circular surface at the level of ground. A set of photovoltaic cells has support tubes for measuring reflected light, where each cell is oriented along a different angle with respect to the surface to be measured. Each light source has an additional photovoltaic cell for self-calibrating the light source. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for characterizing reflection properties of a surface for calculating desired luminance performances of a lighting installation (2) a computer-assisted analysis method for comparative analysis of reflection characteristics of a road surface. |
