<p>The application relates to the problem of how to detect when an incoming communication channel which belongs to the same call as an outgoing communication channel returns to the same switch and thereby causing a loop. This problem is solved by the application in that incoming call signalling information is compared to call signalling information that was previously stored in a call record and transmitted on an outgoing channel and when both information at least partially match, e.g. having the same calling number, concluding that a loop has been detected.</p> |
