<p>The invention relates to a ventriculo-peritoneal drain, used for treating congenital/acquiered internal obstructive hydrocephalus, in neurosurgical field for draining the cerebrospinal fluid from the level of the dilated cerebral ventricles to the peritoneal cavity level. According to the invention, the drain comprises a ventricular catheter (1) which is connected to a distal tube (3) by means of an intermediate member (2), these being stiffened by means of ligature threads (4).</p> |
