A liquid ejecting head with a nozzle forming member in which plural nozzle sequences formed by aligning nozzles (4) configured to eject a liquid drop of recording liquid are arranged such that nozzles (4) of respective sequences are provided in a zigzag pattern and a water-repellent layer comprising a resin layer is applied and formed on a surface thereof at a side of liquid drop ejection, is provided, wherein the respective nozzle sequences are arranged at an interval(s) which is/are not greater than a diameter of a nozzle (4), or which is/are equal to or greater than 100 ¼m.
