<p>The procedure for detecting and identifying Streptococcus agalactiae uses a reaction medium with at least one enzymatic esterase substrate, and another substrate selected from alpha-glucosidase, phosphatase, betcellobiosidase, N-acetylglucosaminidase and beta-glucosidase substrates. The concentration in each substrate is between 10 and 2000 mg/l, and the procedure consists of inoculating the reaction medium with all or part of a sample being tested, incubating and revealing the presence of at least one esterase activity, either on its own or in combination with another, different enzymatic activity.</p> |
