The wheel comprises
a shaped rim (2) having two lateral seats (6, 7), one internal and one external, respectively, which are intended to receive corresponding beads of a tyre, and having a depressed central channel-like portion (8), and
a disc (3) which is fixed to the interior of the operatively external side of the rim (2) and which has a curved peripheral edge or border (3b) which is positioned internally adjacent the external lateral seat (6) of the rim (2). The peripheral edge or border (3a) of the disc (3) is curved towards the exterior of the rim (2) and at least one retaining seat (3b), in which a wheel cover element can be engaged, is constructed in the internal surface thereof.
