<p>A network transfer method of a mobile communication terminal is provided to enable a BTS(Base Transceiver Subsystem) of a 1X network to be equipped with a unit for recognizing failure of a transmission path or a BSC(Base Station Controller), so as to turn off output of the BTS if the failure is generated, thus a 1X terminal can be effectively transferred to a 2G network. A BTS(214) of a CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access)2000 1x mobile communication network transmits a keep alive message to a BSC(212). The BTS recognizes that no response for the keep alive message is not received from the BSC for a certain period of time. The BTS decides that failure is generated from a transmission path between the BTS and the BSC, and turns off output of the BTS. A mobile communication terminal does not receive an output signal from the BTS, and is transferred to an IS-95 mobile communication network.</p> |
