A selective dual type hair dryer is provided to quickly dry user's hair by attaching a detachable dryer on a connecting receptacle formed on a stationary dryer in necessary. The selective dual type hair dryer includes a stationary dryer(31) having a body equipped with a grip(300), an air blower(36), and a heater(37), a detachable dryer(41), and a connecting receptacle(302). The detachable dryer is detachably attached on the body of the stationary dryer, and consists of an air blower(46), a heater(47), and a connecting terminal(45) for supplying an electric current to the air blower and the heater. An outlet port(42) of the detachable dryer is disposed in the same direction as an outlet port(31) of the stationary dryer. The connecting receptacle formed on the body is connected to the connecting terminal of the detachable dryer. |
