An outdoor unit for an air conditioner is provided to dispose a motor part of a blow fan in an outlet for reducing lengths of components and distances between the components, thereby reducing the thickness of the outdoor unit. An outdoor unit for an air conditioner includes a case(110) formed with an inlet and an outlet(116), a heat exchanger(121) disposed at the inlet in the case, and a blow fan having a motor part(127) received in the outlet for discharging air from the case to the outside via the outlet. A mount bracket is coupled with a front part of the case in close contact with a rear surface of the front part for supporting the blow fan. The mount bracket is disposed in the vertical direction of the case and has a vertical section(132) coupled with the motor part and a coupling part folded from both ends of the vertical section to be coupled with the case. A guide part(117) is formed in the circular sectional shape by being protruded from the outlet inward and extended in the circumferential direction, and has a bracket coupling part(118) for the vertical section to closely contact the rear surface of the front part of the case. |
