An external rotor type motor is provided to simplify the coupling of rotation axis by fixing the rotation axis to a rotor through a bolt and to improve a cooling efficiency of the motor by exposing the rotor and the stator to the outside. An external rotor type motor(100) includes a stator(110), a permanent magnet(121), a rotor(120), a rotation axis(130), a pair of bearings(140), a pair of support brackets(150), and a driving circuit board. The stator(110) is formed in a direction of rotation. The rotor(120) fixes a plurality of permanent magnets(121) arranged in a circumferential direction by being spaced apart by a minute gap at the outside of the stator(110). The rotation axis(130) rotates together with the rotor(120). The bearings(140) rotatably support the rotation axis(130). The support brackets(150) are fixed to the bearings(140) to encompass an outer periphery of the bearing(140). The driving circuit board is formed in a space between the support brackets(150).
